STILL ALL I WANT

Its over a year ago that Gareth Pugh introduced this abnormity of a ring and I still want it in my collection of larger than life jewellery. It normally sells for around 180 - 250 euros but I found one for 46 euros.. so tempting.

HOW TO GET RID OF THE YELLOW

Trying to get white/grey hair I still have the problem that after a couple of washes my hair wants to go a bit yellowish. Might be I need to bleach it one more time but Im trying to just give it a rest right now. So instead Im solving the issue with the yellow with a purple toner. I have tried three so far, and the one from La riche called "Directions" has been the cheapest, easiest to use, best smelling toner with the best result as well. I couldnt find it in Sweden and also not in Switzerland, but I saw it in Austria for something around 10 Euro. If you wanna make it easier for you just order online from some british webshop (just google, there are many out there), they sell it for 3 to 5 pound including shipping. (I use the colours "Lilac" and "Silver" mixed together)

EVEN MORE NEW FAVORITES

The "Hog" plattforms from nelly.se. These things were on sale for like ever and no one wanted them. Yes they are kinda odd and lookin a bit like hooves - so they're just like i love my shoes! Comfy, wearable and at insane 99 kronor on sale. The only problem I had with them was that they were a bit brownish instead of black, so I gave them a rubb of black shoe polish as soon as they arrived.

ANOTHER UPDATE

No perfect hairdo, but I hope you get the idea. Like the icy blond/white/grey a lot right now. Gonna try a purple toner soon to get more greyish, curious how that will turn out.

THE SHOW

So this was the show we went to in Zürich. Plus for organization, location, runway. Didnt like the robot voice they had instead of a host and the collection of the last designer duo was too much art-student for my taste but very very well made clothes overall. My favs was a japanese designer duo (Kielo). Sweet.

BEFORE THE SHOW

Last saturday A & me went for a quick one to Zürich, checking out some exhibitions, eating good and going to a fashion show (last wknd was Zürich Fashion Week).

STOPPING AT BLONDE WHILE ON THE WAY TO GREY

So I wanted to go grey for a couple of months now. Nowadays it feels like H&M completely changes their whole sortiment every week, fast fashion is key and bloggers are like 14 years old. Youth is the shit to sum it all up. So I found it quite interesting to go the other route.

I must have asked about thirty hairdressers in total (Umeå just must be the town with the most hairdressers in Sweden) and some were just straight up "I dont touch that", but most were saying I would have to come in for at least two to three sessions, every session costing me about 2000 sek (220 €). Now that adds up to something like 600 € at least. Plus they said they have no clue how it would turn out. They crazy.

So i DIYed. Just stating my idea online got quite a response. Like people were panically calling/texting/mailing me to leave it be. And I gotta admit I was a bit scared just before I started messing with the bleach. Now I was totally prepared that the first bleaching would turn out orange (thats normal since under brown hair normally lays orange) but it didnt. Yay. So now Im just gonna keep it like this for a week or so, giving my hair some time to just rest and then bleach it again. I expect to end up with Sisqo-hair (you remember Sisqo right?) after the second or third bleach and then Im gonna tone it with a grey/purple colour which hopefully will leave me with grey-ish hair. It wont be completely even (and I dont want it to be) and it will be a bit of a experiment but Ive enjoyed it so far and it saves me some serious cash.

After having a serious wtf-moment when I woke up this morning, having forgotten last nights bleaching, I now really like the momentary state of the hair.

PREVIEW

The real deal at 6 o´clock tonight.

!!!

Got a minor heartattack today when UPS brought me a package today that I have been waiting for for weeks! I worked on a pattern for a the upcoming collection and was finally happy enough with it to send it to the printer - so here I present my first own fabric pattern. Love it. (The design is basically just triangles, inverted, inverted and inverted again one million times to get kind of an modern, more edgy, sci-fi tribal feeling)

Printed it on flowing silk jersey, sturdy cotton and one very lightweight fabric that I dont remember the name of right now. Different sizes as well.

NNails

You remember the inverted black half moon french manicure thing I had a while back?

Well I just found the male version of it over at HHoly. Lookin good.

THE DRESS! THE HAIR!

Katie Shillingford (fashion editor of Dazed & Confused) in her wedding dress, designed by best friend Gareth Pugh. Omg. If I ever walk down that aisle and happen to stumble over a bigger pile of cash, remind me to call Gareth cause this is how it should be done. Divine.
